Electrical Engineering
We have experience designing electrical systems for a variety of applications, including lighting displays, audio systems, power systems, and automation. Through our time in this field, we have developed our own catalog of components and subsystems we use, which are often interchangeable between different projects. This not only allows us to anticipate potential modes of failure, but it drastically reduces the time required for the development and prototyping stages.
In addition to creating new designs, our skills allow us to diagnose and repair defective and failed devices. We have a wide array of test equipment which is critical to the troubleshooting process.
Embedded Systems Programming
While some electronic designs are relatively simple, others require microprocessor control, in which case significant programming is involved in achieving the goal. We have experience with many different chip architectures, ranging from inexpensive 8-bit controllers through complex 32 and 64 bit microprocessors, the selection of which is dependent on the task at hand. Previous projects include applications in Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity, data management and security, computer vision, and standardized stage lighting control.
